Recent (and not so recent) stories about Tech Clinic projects
All are gathered to celebrate the final night of Vegetables in the Community, a food distribution stand that started as a solution from a Technology Clinic class working with Sophia Feller and the now dissolved West Ward Neighborhood Partnership to address a local food desert. But this veggie stand has grown into a community development project.
A group of students from diverse majors is working to make a local fish farming operation more economically and environmentally efficient. The students are members of Technology Clinic, a hands-on course founded in 1987 that combines various student expertise and talents to help solve real-world problems of a business, nonprofit, or government body.
