IMG_6150“Over the course of the 2014, the Lafayette College Technology Clinic has been working to develop programming for greenhouses on the Bangor Area High School property that had sat empty for several years and make them available to students as a hands-on learning supplement. In cooperation with teachers at the High School, we have been working to create an agriculture course elective utilizing the greenhouse that will be available to interested students and that will teach the importance of agriculture, fresh produce, and nutrition in their lives through daily activities. The goal is to get students excited and passionate about gardening and agriculture through a variety of projects designed as part of the greenhouse elective curriculum.”
